4 Months!

Weekend Warriors

David worked on putting up this fence to keep our animals out of the garden. It's almost done and gorgeous. He and Dorito worked in the yard. Dorito knew that David was digging so he thought he would help. And of course there were naps this weekend.

First Zoo Trip

Yesterday was a wonderfully warm and cloudy day, perfect for the zoo. David and Isaac enjoyed their first trip to the Indianapolis Zoo. I have an annual pass so Isaac and I will be going a lot this summer. Isaac had a blast talking to everything, he really likes being outside. We also discovered that Isaac is now scared of loud noises. We walked into the Dolphin Show and he started screaming. He also started crying when we were in the bathroom and the hand dryer came on.

We all enjoyed watching the lemurs. They were quite funny as they tried to walk on a log but were scared of the turtles that were hanging out there.

That's not diapers

After our last baby shower we went on our registry to see what we needed to get that wasn't purchased for us and we found out that someone got us some bath gifts but we never received them, or so we thought. I got out this box of diapers that someone got for us to see if this size fit Isaac and found our missing bath gear.

Ooh la la

I love this commercial (probably because of the catchy music) and feel like I have the bottom half down. Now I have to figure out how to get back the top half.

Summary of Southern Trip

Playing with granny

When he was sleeping in the Pack and Play he would fall asleep trying to suck/lick/eat the side of it.

Meeting Nana.

Some old lady at the Thai restaurant held Isaac while I ate, and he loved it.

Went to North Carolina to meet one of my best friends from college, Tiffany.

Went to Georgia with Olivia. He slept when we first got there and Shady kept jumping on him to figure out what he was (he slept through it). While he slept, Olivia met our Aunt Beth and their Guinea Pig. Here's Isaac with Beth, MeKenzie and Abigail, the dog. Also met his great Granny.

Meeting Janette,
playing with Pawpaw, and met his great, great, Mama Cummings in Anderson.

Rotten weather on the way home, so Isaac had fun watching the big tucks go by on the interstate.

Isaac met soo many people on this tour of the southeast but I forgot to take picture of some of them, sorry. We're now back in Indy and getting back into our routine.

David is off to Rome and Berlin for work, while Isaac and I are off to South Carolina to visit family and friends.

Display

A friend of mine told me about this. She uses a curtain rod to display her children's artwork and I thought it was an awesome idea. So David put these up for Isaac. I also found these letter pictures on flickr. I know the S is from a Starbucks and one of the A's is from a subway. It was lots of fun to looks through all the various alphabets.

Talking up a storm

Isaac was talking up a storm until I turned on the camera. It took several takes before getting this one.

3 month comparison

At one month and at 3 months. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to use for monthly pictures that's why there's George, the love rocker that was my grandmothers, Humfrey the bear, and now his new chair. If there's one you particularly like let me know in the comments.
