He's doing great! The only thing that came as a surprise to me was that he is pigeon chested. But after I googled it I'm wondering if he meant funnel chest because his chest has a sunken in appearance. The doctor said that this is only a cosmetic problem. His skull plates were overlapped when he was born, that has fixed itself. He had a blocked tear duct at birth, and that is also fixed. He smiles at me and also laughs, so he's doing great as far as behavior. Eats 4 ounces every 3 hours, which means he's a good eater. Lifts his head to look around too.

Thank you God
We've had some rough weather and not many opportunities to play outside. Thankfully earlier this week we just got rain. No wind. No thunder. No lighting. Just rain.
Throughout this year with my BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) Isaiah study I've learned to thank God even in the storm. With that I've examined the past couple of months and still have to thank God for the trying moments. The month before Nolan was born was a little rough (house repairs, Isaac with Croup, Mother-in-law sick while staying with us, 10 months pregnant and trying to keep up with a 2 year old, crazy dogs, etc.) and I think that prepared me to be able to handle two kids. It can be rough at times but overall things are going swimmingly and I love it! I love being a stay at home mom and am blessed with the opportunity to raise our children the way that we want them to be raised. I'm still working on letting people's criticism of my parenting not bother me, but I know that I have some great kids and that's because David and I are raising them in a Christian household. But God has also blessed me here in Indiana, by surrounding me with a wonderful group of Christian women that encourage me instead of judge me. Thank you God!

Egg hunt
David and Isaac went out to get breakfast and while they were gone the Easter Bunny came by and left some treats. Isaac was so excited about the golf set and wanted to play right away. Then he discovered that the eggs had treats inside. His favorite were the sesame sticks. The goldfish he made into a pile, and the chocolate covered berries he gave to David. After he found most of the eggs and bobbers he discovered he had an Easter basket filled with goodies including a chocolate bunny, which he tried but think it was that great. The last picture is of him asking me for more eggs, I gave him some direction on where to look then he resorted to calling for them by yelling "Eggs!" David said we should hide eggs more often because it kept Isaac occupied for at least and hour.
We had such a wonderful family oriented Easter and can't wait to do it again. We really enjoyed the Saturday night Easter service with friends as well.

Broken Squirrel
I've been up since 4am and aren't as fast to react as I usually am. So Isaac got a little lesson on the life cycle today. I open the back door to let the dogs out then went to do something in the living room and when I looked out the back window I saw that the dogs were fighting with something. I go to see what's going on and Daisy is shaking something very large around and it is squeaking! Then I start yelling at Daisy and Isaac comes outside to see what's going on. I then call David and he thinks its cool that Daisy caught a squirrel and wants me to take a picture. That didn't really help with my problem of getting Daisy away from the squirrel. He did suggest getting dog treats, which worked. I then have everyone inside and am going to get a trash bag to pick up the squirrel and Isaac opens the back door because he's very curious about what's out there, and the dogs are off to the squirrel again. I give up and let Isaac look at it while the dogs sniff it. Isaac was very interested in looking at it then he became concerned when I put it in the trash can. I explained that Daisy broke the squirrel and now it has to go in the trash. j
After that episode we go to play in the front yard and every time Isaac walks past the trash can he points to it and says broken. I'm not sure if he is concerned about the squirrel or just informing me. He then proceeded to pick up all the dried up worms and bring them to me. I guess the theme for the day is life cycle/death. He did start out the morning by smushing ants with his toes. Ahhh the life of boys.
