6 month doctor appointment

Well, both boys got flu shots today and Isaac was an awesome big brother today by showing Nolan how to get a shot and not cry. Nolan's doing great except he's still not flipping over, but the doctor's not worries since he's got great muscle tone. The doctor also thinks that since he such a chill baby he just doesn't feel the need to flip over. The doctor is also recommending another speech evaluation for Isaac since I had to be the interpreter.
Now for the stats:
Weight-19 lbs 10 oz 85th percentile
Height-28.5 inches 98th percentile
Head- 44.5 cm 48th percentile

1st Dentist Visit

With 20 healthy teeth. He was so awesome that even let them clean his teeth.

Apple Cake Helper

This has been the greatest help with making apple cake and I can't wait to use it to make apple pie. I love the apple peeler, corer, slicer, but not in love with this model, Pampered Chef.
Feeding the dogs the apple peels.
Got a little too excited about cracking eggs.

6 month pictures

I really tried to get some smiles from these boys but they weren't going to do it for me. Next time I'll be using cookies.

After getting a few of Nolan by himself, not smiling, I thought I'd use Isaac to try to get some smiles out of Nolan. Especially since Nolan instantly starts laughing when Isaac makes eye contact with him.
Isaac trying to get comfortable and away from Nolan. If Isaac's within reach of Nolan, Nolan will grab him and not let go.
This was the best and only shot I got from my oh so happy boys. Isaac herd the camera click and was done with trying to do a favor for mommy.
This was just after a laugh at Isaac.

Half Birthday Present

As a present for his half birthday he got a package of Baby Mum Mums, which are teething rice cracker.

Costume Ideas

I've gotten a couple of suggestions on what Nolan should be for Halloween. And while researching one suggestion I came across this wig that totally looks like a thicker version of my baby's hair. To bad he's too big for this ...
and too small for this.

Building a Police Car

While David was away the other weekend I ventured out with both boys to a Lowe's Build and Grow workshop where we made a police car with a flashing light. Since then Daisy has chewed on one of the bumpers, but thankfully he hasn't noticed yet.

Flour Discovery

Some of you might think I'm crazy but I let Isaac play with just about everything, including flour. I also discovered that you can make a dog look rabid you let him eat a lot of flour.

Chicken Coop is Finished!

David took care of the kids for a few hours so I could build this coop and I'm so excited that I got it done! I'm also proud of myself for making my own design and getting all the materials for free. Now I have to work on the run so they won't get eaten by the dogs.
