My Nolan
Nolan has a couple of projects displayed on the wall outside his classroom at his church Pre-K class. This is what he thinks is joyful.
He wanted to make me a bow for my hair, David helped him make it. I've had to wear it a few times, perhaps it should go missing soon. Especially since he wanted me to wear it to church this last week, but I forgot it in the car. Oops.

Neighborhood Summer Shindig
We love that our neighborhood has this at the end of every summer. It's always a great time and it's free.

Paddle Boarding
My friend Elizabeth has a list of 40 things she wants to do by 40 and I was happy to help her accomplish one of them. Paddle boarding was fun and a lot easier than I expected, even though many people at the lake told us we would end up wet. We showed them! I even stayed dry when a canoe crashed into me, sadly Elizabeth didn't get that on camera.

Daisy and Squirrels
This is Daisy most days, keeping an eye on her territory.
We have had a pesky squirrel come into our year and when she goes after it they both end up on the fort. The squirrel on the roof and Daisy right under it on the fort. 
I wasn't able to capture a picture of her on the fort but here's one of her jumping off the back of it to go after the squirrel.

Cicada Shell
Isaac found a couple of these hanging on to our monster tree, but he refused to touch them.
