I finally get to take a shower! As you see from the last two pictures it was much needed. The hardest part was getting the drains situated. Hopefully they will get taken out on Monday.
I had to giggle at the hair standing straight up independently after 4 days without bathing. My hair never has stood straight up without gallons of hairspray, and you found a Free way! Don't let the secret get out. ;)
You are one strong gal! I thought about you blogging all day. You are pretty inspiring. I picked up my old blog and dusted it off. I've had it for several years, but when this BRCA stuff hit last summer I just couldn't write about it. I felt as though this issue had a complete hold over me. I was stuck. I'd like to be unstuck, so one week before surgery, I'm writing again too. And it feels rather empowering. Thank you Amy for your courage. I suspect you will inspire other women who have to make these decisions. Perrin Feel free to cuddle up with the laptop and read if you like. I'll try to pop a few more stories on before I go in next week. http://twoladybugs.blogspot.com Wishing you fast healing.

ReplyDeleteYour color doesn't look so good standing in the shower, were you feeling ok? Did it hurt to stand?
