One of Isaac's friends has a puppet theater and he wanted to build one. So here's what mama and Isaac made.

Day 1 of David in Taiwan

What a day! It wasn't bad just different. Nolan woke at 6am for milk and went back to sleep until 9:30. Isaac was up at 7am and off to school at 8am. Then 10am was Nolan's First Steps meeting for me to sign paperwork. Nolan refused to eat breakfast, just kept throwing it at Daisy. When Isaac got home we were off to the Dollar Store to get some stuff for the treasure chest and treats for teachers. When we got back I put Nolan down for a nap, which didn't last long. Then off to the vet to get Daisy's stitches out. We brought Dorito because there were to many things for me to pick up before I could leave him in the house alone. Not even 5 minutes from the house Nolan throws up, from gagging himself. Then Isaac falls asleep. At the vet I feel like a 3 ring circus. The vet tech helped carry Nolan, while I carried a cranky 3 year old. Dorito was in the car barking the entire time. The vet brought Daisy out to the care for me and the vet tech carried Nolan to the car. When we get to the car there is blood on the back window from Dorito. So the vet checks him out and can't find anything. She thinks maybe he bit his tongue. On the way home Daisy licks her wounds because the vet took off the collar. When we get home I take off Nolan's diaper then he crawls off. I then put the collar of Daisy because the wounds were starting to bleed. Then I go to find Nolan to put a diaper on him and their is a trail of pebble poop through the kitchen. Thankful my friend called to offer to cut our grass, because I was not looking forward to doing that after the kids went to sleep. While he is driving his mower over, I put the kids down in the backyard so I can pick up their toys. Nolan then crawls over to Isaac's mulch pile and grabs a piece of wood looks at me as I tell him no and puts it in his mouth while laughing at me. I go take it from him and he grabs a handful of mulch. He throws it up in the air all over himself. Then he grabs another handful and puts it in his mouth. I tell him no and he says yum. The first time ever he says yum is over mulch! By the way I couldn't get him to eat a meal today. He goes to bed early and then I try to put Isaac to bed, but a storm comes in at 9pm and he comes running out of his room crying hysterically. He falls asleep in my bed and I take him to his bed at 10pm. 2:30am he comes to my bed saying there is a monster in his closet. We go check it out and he goes back to sleep. Then Nolan is awake and I feed him.  Dorito throws up in our bedroom at at 6am. Welcome to Saturday.

Here's one occasion where they work together and get along for more than 2 minutes. Nolan gets the lock off and Isaac opens it.

Bacon and Eggs

Now that one of our chickens is giving us eggs daily we decided to try them out. They were delicious! Isaac opted for bacon then asked for more and grabbed a handful, 3 or 4 strips, and walked around eating it like it was candy.

Dew claw

Daisy keeps breaking her dew claw so we had it removed and now she's trying to kill us with her cone of shame. The back of my legs have bruises from her and Isaac has learned to let her go down the stairs first.

Date Night Finally!

My friend Shannon is wonderful and offered to care for our kids while we went on a date. David also surprised me by planning part of the date. We had a wonderful time being food critics at a new to us restaurant and then were off to a musical comedy, which I loved. It's been so long since we went out this night out together was greatly appreciated.
