College?

Granny and Grumpy put money into a college fund for our boys as a birthday present for them. After getting off the phone with them I told him he was going to college. He asked what college is and we tried to explain that its a school you go to when you are older and then you start your own family. Later that night, 6 hours later, he came into my room after he was tucked in and looked like he was going to cry. I asked him what's wrong and he just shook his head no. Then he started crying and between his hyperventilating cries I picked up something along the lines of not wanting to go to another family. Poor guy. I hugged him and tried not to laugh while comforting him. David had to cough to cover up his laughing. So we won't be bring up college anytime soon.

Fabulous 4 Year Old to Fantastic 5 Year Old

Isaac requested a Chickaletta party , a character from PAW Patrol. He also made the guest list this year. Please don't take it personal if your child didn't make the list, it was probably because he hasn't seen them in awhile.
The chicken pinata in the making.

Helping me put confetti in eggs.

Then painting those eggs.

Favor bags.

Stick the beak on the chicken.

Splat eggs.

Confetti eggs.

Cam was terrified that Daisy was going to eat him. Little did he know that he was covered in cupcake. Not sure how he got it on his back, but Daisy wanted to help clean him up.

Can you see the two splat eggs.

Pinata time.

Nolan just grabbed a bag of m&m's and tried to feed them to everybody.

One of the confetti eggs had a 5 dollar bill in it. I forgot about it and Isaac came to tell me there was money in one of them. I asked him where it was and he told me it was blowing away. So there was a search for the money.

Our monster tree is great for climbing and swinging.

Listening to Granny and Grumpy sing Happy Birthday to him.
He had a great time. Thank you to all that came to celebrate with us.
