Gallbladder be gone

That's my liver and gallbladder with stones. Surgery went well as far as I know. I woke up in the recovery room with a lot of pain and even asked the nurse if the doctor took out my rib. We finally got home about 10pm last night and Julie was awesome at keeping me calm at the hospital. Last night was a little rough because of the CO2 that they pumped into my abdomen, but today is much better. Right now I'm very drugged and very sleepy.

I love my brain!

A great day with Aunt Julie

We are so excited to have family living in Indiana now. We had a wonderful day with Aunt Julie and can't wait for her to come back in just a few days. Isaac had tons of fun playing with Aunt Julie and he can't wait for Uncle Jason to come play too.

This is what happens when...

a 2 year old takes scissors outside.

A beautiful moth

The caterpillar we caught last August finally came out of its cocoon.

3 months

Nolan's now 3 months old! He's currently wearing 9 month clothing, sleeps for a 4 hour stretch at night, and still eats every 3 hours. He's super cuddly, swishy, giggly, and talkative.

Buh Bye

I met with the surgeon yesterday and apparently my gallbladder is a bad case and he wants it out as soon as possible. As soon as possible happens to be Wednesday at 4pm. If I didn't have it out on Wednesday then I'd have to wait until the end of July because his partner is on maternity leave and he's going on vacation. My gallbladder has a lot of little stones, sludge, and one of walls is thickened. The attacks are also getting worst. Last Thursday, while David was in Japan, I had a horrible attack that left me throwing up for half of the day. Luckily some of my mom friends came to my aid and took Isaac to the park so I could rest for a little bit. Thank you God for surrounding me with these wonderful mamas.

Happy Father's Day!

Isaac, Nolan, the babysitter, and I went to paint some pottery a few weeks ago to surprise Daddy and boy was he surprised.

A perfect smile

Bug Catcher

I got this bug catching kit for Isaac from Target for $2 and he's been obsessed with catching pill bugs. He spent all morning catching them, then as soon as he got up from his nap he went running out of this room and out the back door to catch more.
