Our poor chickens

While we were in Florida our neighbor came to feed our chickens daily. Unfortunately something knew we were gone and attacked our chickens over a few days. After getting back we found one of the predators in the coop snacking on a couple of our chickens. Here's Red trying to hide on top of my gardening bench. 

Here's David prepared for battle with coonie. Thankfully a neighbor and David took care of coonie.  I know our neighbors felt horrible that a few chickens gotten eaten on their watch, but they're just chickens and now I have an excuse to get more. 

Halloween Adventures

We went to Conner Prairie for the Headless Horseman hayride, which was the perfect amount of scary for them. 

Then we had some of the neighbors over to decorate cookies. 

Halloween Night! Nolan was a ghost, I was Effie Trinket from the Hunger Games, Isaac was a Knight, and David was a noble stead.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween at Disney World

We had fun staying at Disney's Art of Animation and visiting Magic Kingdom for their Halloween Party. We were their from 4pm until 1am! Can you believe it? Nolan did fall asleep around 10 on the Haunted Mansion ride.
