I had a little scare today. I have a little bleeding and it is different from the first two pregnancy and also happening a little later in the pregnancy than I expected. So off to the doctor I went for an ultrasound and I was preparing myself for the worst, especially when I stepped on the scale today and saw that I've lost another 3 pounds since the weekend. So I cried when I immediately saw the baby moving. Everything looks great, I think she said the heart rate is 167 but I wasn't really listening at that point. The baby is actually measuring ahead of schedule now at 12 weeks 5 days. It looks like I'm going to have another giant baby and am already planning on that epidural. There's no way I'm going to be in labor for 42 hours again with a giant baby that tries to get itself stuck without an epidural. So even though I'm losing weight and not eating much this baby is thriving. The plus side to the weight loss is that I'm down to my pre-Isaac weight. The baby looked great and I got a picture of it with it's legs crossed. We couldn't get a good view of it's head because my uterus is titled backwards, resting on my spine. I was grateful to see that the placenta is located at the top front too, since I was worried with Isaac that it would never move away from the bottom.
