Crazy Caterpillars

While we were out of town the caterpillars changed, due to the hotter temperatures in the house. The day we released them we spotted a new one in the yard. The new one is crazy looking and we can't wait to see what this colorful thing turns into.

Charleston and Folly Beach

Julie and Aaron's trip to the states gave us an excuse to take a vacation and rent a house at Folly. We wish you guys safe travels to your new home and hopefully we'll see you next year.
It was nice that Isaac had a playmate with their son and we had a house to use to access the beach. It was also a very nice gathering place. I love seeing my friends from college and miss living in Charleston, but until we retire a yearly visit will have to do.
Isaac got to play with little crabs, watch David fish, touch all sorts of sea life, make sand castles, see cannons, and all sorts of other stuff that I neglected to take pictures of. One thing I don't want to forget is how excited Isaac got when the Chickfila cow waved at him. I'm not sure he understood that it wasn't a real cow.
It was pretty easy going down to SC but the drive back was long, 14 hours, and not something I want to do anytime soon. It was a nice vacation for all us and I'm pretty sure it's going to be a rough week this week since Isaac got used to David being home.

That explains a lot

Yup, I took three home tests and went to the doctor for a blood test not believing these three. I never thought it would happen without the assistance of drugs, but it has and I'm thanking God everyday. We are thrilled that we will be expecting a new little one early April.
This explains why I couldn't stand the smell of the fish food and why I got a George Foreman grill one morning to make waffles, instead of the waffle maker.
So far this pregnancy has been very different from the first two. I never craved hamburgers or had an insatiable thirst for water, which was an indication that I was pregnant before. I am constantly nauseous and gag at the sight of cheese now. David has been amazing so far, taking care of Isaac a lot so I can rest. David gets so excited when he sees that I'm not feeling well and I love it. We are over the moon at this point and can't wait to see this little one in an ultrasound soon.

Adventures with Crazy Aunt Julie

This past week David went to Texas to help Mama and Baba with some renovations, and Julie came from Utah to stay with Isaac and I. The first night was a little rough, Isaac missed his Dada and cried for a long time before finally falling asleep. We had a blast showing Julie all our favorite places and I especially love the help with some things around the house. One of those will be another post.

Pet Rock

I'm the mom who always forgets to bring water toys when going to a water park. Thankfully Isaac has adjusted and now sports a pet rock.
