Baby Yoga

He's not crawling yet but his moves look like he's doing yoga.

Super Star!

Another Craigslist find. It's a Fisher-Price Little Superstar Sing-Along Stage. I had a hard time getting on video excited he was playing with it.

7 months!

I'm not sure we can use candles again; he's very interested in them.

Charlie Bag

The steps are here and the pattern is here. It's supposed to be a reusable grocery bag but it's the about the same size as the purse I carry. I just added some pockets on the inside.

Naked Time

His skin doesn't like something he ate recently so I gave him some time to air out. He's smiling because I'm singing part of a Chinese nursery rhyme that his Nyny sings to him.

Pay it forward

Who doesn't love new, beautiful, unique handmade items? How about if you could get that new, beautiful, unique handmade item for free? How about if you then shared your talents with others? Now I know that last one sometimes makes people nervous...but I know there are enough of you out there that are up to the challenge. So please, read on and leave a comment.
A blogger friend is doing a pay-it-forward game. For the first five bloggers to leave a comment (in your comment tell me a little bit about you and be sure to leave a way for me to contact you(blog address or email)) on this post and commit to do the same pay-it-forward on their blogs I will do the following (and if you are one of the five this is what you will paste in your pay-it-forward post too) :I am willing to post overseas (I am in the US), but remember you must commit on your blog to do the same for others.
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I send you. But you may be pleasantly surprised. It will definitely be sewing/craft related.
2. What I send will be made just for you, with love, by my own hands. You'd be surprised how much of our personalities come through online.
3. I will complete all 5 gifts this year - 2009.
4. I will not give you any clue what it’s going to be. It will be something made in the real world, that you can touch and feel, and not something cyber.
5. I reserve the right to do something strange. It may be weird or beautiful. Or it may be monstrous and annoying. If you find it truly horrendous, just let me know. Perhaps you'll send it forward to someone who will absolutely love it.
6. In return, all you need to do is post this text on your blog and make 5 things for the first 5 to respond to your blog post (one for each).
7. Send your mailing address - after I contact you to confirm.
If five people have already left a comment, do not despair. I want everyone to leave a comment and I will choose three random people to send a little something to as well, I have so many ideas and things that I would love to share with all of you.
I will be anxiously awaiting each of your fabulous comments! I can't wait to get started!!

Basket redone

This is part of the crazy cloth clown barrel that I made a couple weeks back. I ended up cut the clown barrel in half (so it wasn't as tall) and putting this nice fabric on the outside of it.

BzzAgent

I'm a BzzAgent and have been for awhile. I love getting free stuff in the mail, actually I like getting anything in the mail. Well, being a BzzAgent I get free stuff from them and they ask that I tell other about it. First I got Root Awakening in the make, full size bottles and samples. I just received CoverGirl Lipstain and a whole bunch of coupons. This is great!
I'm also a Vocalpoint member and they send me random free stuff. It's neat because I don't request this stuff. I recently got this Bounce dryer bar.(I got the picture from amazon) It's pretty cool. You just stick and forget it.
I also like youdata. They pay you for looking at ads. Yeah, it's only cents but it adds up.

Sunday

We had a fun filled Sunday, going to Home Depot, going to the pool, and eating dinner together. Feel free to make your own captions and leave them in the comments. And yes, we dress our kid up for our own amusement. Looks like he just stepped off the Fresh Prince set. Too cool. Talk to the toe. Whatcha lookin' at. Pickles are the best. He gets duck lips when he's concentrating very hard. Hi Dorito, nice to see you. You better not take my Mum, Mum (a teething cookie). What!? That's all I get.
