Isaac and I went to the Family Experience at Connection Pointe. The first night we got to make a clock for family time.

Nolan's First and Second Zoo Visits

On Nolan's first visit he seemed more amused by the other visitors than by the animals. Nolan loved the dog show and was dancing and clapping for the dogs. Isaac had fun feeding the birds while Nolan tried to grab them. Nolan was able to pet them but then they would fly away. One even landed on Isaac's head.

First Fast Glass Class

Since I'm feeling so good after surgery and we still have a nanny, I'm taking a glass class. This week we made paperweights and flowers. I had so much fun and can't wait to learn glass blowing next week. Also can't wait to see my creations from this week when I go back next week. This is a 4 week course, that's why it's called Fast Glass. We're learning the basics pretty fast but we do have open studio time to practice. I'm having a blast even though I'm dripping sweat during these 3 hours.

A little rash

I've had it for a few days and went to the doctor yesterday. It doesn't look infected so they aren't sure what's going on but ordered an antibiotic just in case. Other than this I've been feeling pretty good an often forget that I've just had surgery. Last Saturday I decided I wanted to move a coffee table downstairs for Nolan to practice walking around. I dragged it to the stairs and was starting to bring it down the stairs when it occurred to me that I had surgery a week ago. So I put the table down and left it for David to move when he got home.
