Halloween Party 2010

Princess Peach, Baby Mario, and Luigi. We had fun and can't wait to take Isaac trick-or-treating for the first time next weekend. I'll have to work on my roots before then.

Pumpkin Patch and Hayride

It's very important to me that we do a lot of things together as a family. We usually don't get to eat dinner together so David and I make it a point to do an activity every weekend together as a family, whether it be the playground together or the pumpkin patch it's always a good time making memories. We will never regret taking this time to spend with each other and our children. So the blog posts, laundry, dishes, bible study pages, and emails can all wait because I have this wonderful little boy who's looking to me to show him the world.

Construction

Down the road they're building a new neighborhood with a lot of big construction vehicles. One evening Isaac and I went to check them out and he was very interested in them but it was so dirty. I know I should have expected that, but with as dirty as it was we didn't explore too much. He enjoyed pointing out my shoe tracks too.

Tailgating Party

Our church had a tailgating party this past weekend and we had a great time with friends and great weather.

Colors

Today at our MOPS meeting we did an art project with our children. I picked a canvas for us to do and Isaac loved it. It was a little crazy trying to keep him painting only on our canvas, but he loves "colors" as he calls it.

October 15th

October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. I couldn't bring myself to actually post on the 15, I was having a very emotional day. I usually post the first weekend in October for our Walk to Remember, but we didn't go this year due to the weather. So I'm posting today and wanted to thank my wonderful husband for making the day better and my friend for the nice note.

Candy

I think Isaac is going to love trick-or-treating. While at the store yesterday in the Halloween isle I called a friend to let her know about a costume they had. In that one minute conversation I wasn't watching Isaac and he helped himself to a Reese's ghost. When I got off the phone I saw him munching on the candy while the wrapper was on the ground along with his hammer. I guess I need to do a better job teaching him that we have to pay for things from stores before we eat them.

Trader's Point

Isaac had so much fun trying to pet the chickens and feeding the cows. He was talking nonstop to them and they were talking back. I think we're going to have to stop by here every time we go to Costco.

The Tiny Tadpole

This is one of Isaac's favorite books, partially because it has textures on each page and partially because the last page fold out to a leaping frog. Last night he took it to bed with him and read it to himself for about an hour before falling asleep, which is normal. Then I woke up at 2am to Isaac yelling "Frog!" He continued to read the book over and over again until 4am yelling "Frog!" at the end every time. While I love that he was reading in bed, I do not love that it kept me awake and that he woke up for the day at 6am.

Basketball

David signed up to play basketball at Connection Pointe Church and was out practicing with Isaac. I couldn't resist going and taking pictures. I tried to do a drive by but Isaac spotted me.

Eagle Creek Park

David took some pictures of us with his phone while we are at the park Saturday. I'm amazed that my belly looks like that even though I haven't gained any weight. I can't believe I'm 15 weeks either, this one's going by fast. Thank you God for this blessing me with this amazing family.
