Had to have it

Like I've said before he loves anything with wheels. Well, after playing at a friend's house he tried pushing this play stroller out the door to take it with him. His friend was nice enough to let him borrow it and he's been pushing it around all day, indoors and out. He wouldn't even let go of it once in his carseat and he held on to it the entire way home.

Easter 2010

Granny and Grumpy came up to so David could have a partner at the Final Four games. The bonus was that they were here for Easter. I loved having family here for a holiday. Hint, Hint: that means our families need to start booking their room here for the next holidays. Isaac had fun hunting for Easter eggs, although he only really cared about the one with the car in it. He didn't use the basket and just carried around two until he came to another. Then he'd drop one to pick up the next one. One of our friends invited us over for Easter dinner, which was delicious.

Ready to go...

on a vacation. This little guy just got his passport and we are ready to go. Now time to research a kid friendly resort. Any suggestions, Bahamas, Mexico, Jamaica?
We went to the doctor again yesterday since his cough isn't better and he's been throwing up. He had X-Rays and it is definitely Croup, we could see a notch in his throat. He's also developed his first ear infection. Poor guy is on steroids and antibiotics. I think he's feeling a little better since he's eating and not throwing up. The doctor said he's got a funky strand of Croup since it didn't get better after a few days and it doesn't get worst at night. It's a constant cough all day and if it's not better by Monday we'll be going back per doctor's request.

5 years

5 years ago today I met my husband. We met in Florence, SC for a sushi lunch that last for hours when it only felt like minutes. He is perfect for me in every way. I love that he respects me. One of the ways that he has shown me recently was by my blog. He continues to let my blog be mine, by not making suggestions. He also never complains about our well lived-in house, otherwise known as messy. He just lets it be and knows I will get to it eventually. I love that he cooks for me, even if it is ramen noodles. Otherwise on those tiring days I would probably just skip eating. He tries to give me a break from Isaac every weekend and every night. I love that I got to go grocery shopping by myself last night. He can always make me laugh too. These are only a few of the reasons God blessed me 5 years ago.
