10 months!

I found that you shouldn't let a cake cool on a wire rack. Because this is what happens.

Pumpniks

Sunday afternoon we went over to the Verburg's to carve pumpniks with their little ones. (One over their children called pumpkins pumpniks.) Isaac had fun playing with the children and attempted to eat his pumpkin, while David enjoyed carving pumpkins.

Head Shake

I've tried for many months to get this on video. I'm still trying to get him saying Mom on video.

Halloween Party

I went as a Girl Scout, David went as a Boy Scout and we brought our little cookie, Isaac.

A lot to say

First Batch of Chocolate Chip Cookies, YUM

Curious

As I vacuum Isaac follows me, actually the vacuum, around. He reaches out to touch it when it's in arms reach but if it touches him he crawls away as fast as he can. Of course when I turn it off he is on top of it.

Fall photo's at the park

Hungry?

Lately he's been going over to his chair to tell us he's hungry.

Facebook

Yup, I did it, I finally joined Facebook. A couple of my friends have been trying to get me to join for at least a few years now. The real reason I joined was to get a coupon for a free edible arrangement. That's right chocolate covered fruit got me to join Facebook. Now that I've joined I can't stop looking up people. Sorry to all of those people that I sent out a invitation to sign up for Facebook, I pushed the wrong button.

Week in pictures

Isaac loves munching on whole apples. He does not like it when I cut it up for him. He would much rather just leave teeth marks all over the apple. He also loves helping me unload the dishwasher. David is letting Isaac borrow his basketball in hopes that Isaac will one day support us pursuing his love of basketball. He's looking super cute in an outfit his Nyny got for him.
The cooler weather means it's time to bake cookies. Here's the first batch of Oatmeal Raisin for the season. Of course Isaac was helping by banging on cookie tins. We've been practicing going up and trying to learn to go down the stairs. He'll only go up a couple of stairs then he starts crying because he doesn't know how to get down.

Isaac's First 5K

We made it to the start line of the Indianapolis Marathon with 2 minutes to spare. Isaac was pretty good for the 5K walk. He stayed in the carrier for the 1st mile then we kept handing him back and forth for the next two miles. It was a really nice path, we saw flamingos and beautiful trees. The path went through a neighborhood and then a park. We finished close to last, there was one group behind us. The plus side to being last is they announce your name when you cross the finish line, but that's because we were finishing with the people that were running the half marathon.
