Zoo fun

During Isaac's two weeks of fall break we've visited the zoo three times because the weather has been wonderful. Nolan's been practicing walking around by himself too. We're still working on staying with the group and listening to mama. He still finds it hilarious to run from me.

Unintentional PT Practice

Isaac decided he wants to get rid of the rug and rolled it up. It turned out to be perfect for Nolan to practice stepping up and down.

Puffy painting

Another pinterest craft, painting with an equal amount of shaving cream and Elmer's glue. It was very thick and hard to paint with. It did stay puffy and Isaac loved touching it as it was drying, which takes days.

Sun catcher

Saw this on pinterest and decided to try it. Thank goodness I put the toaster oven outside to do this because the smell of melting plastic was horrible. I'm not that impressed with the since they seem somewhat fragile.

Gymnastics

I've been trying to find something to keep Isaac active. We tried out soccer and he said he liked it but didn't want to go back. We tried out gymnastics and he has been asking everyday if he can go back. He loves it and it is perfect for the sensory input he needs. He absolutely loves the foam pit that they end class with. The problem was the times they have it offered, but thankfully a friend is able to take him and bring him back during Nolan's nap time.

Helping make dumplings

Isaac was an awesome big brother and let Nolan make the dumplings. It funny how Nolan thought it was fun until he noticed his hands were messy. Then he needed to go make a mess with the water.
