Nolan's 3 year old check up

Happy Birthday to my baby! Nolan is growing and thriving! Weight is 34.6#, 81%. Length 39.5 in, 93%
He even impressed the doctor with his number recognition. The doctor said we have a savant on our hands. Personally I think he's just really interested in numbers and letters, whereas, Isaac was really interested in farm and construction equipment.
Last week we went to the ENT and his left tube is out of his ear drum, now we are just waiting for it to fall out. We'll see him in another 6 months to check on the other ear tube.

Mother Son Date Knight

Isaac and I went to Chickfila's Mother Son Date Night. It was so well put together. At the end of the night the King Cow came out and knighted the sons. It was just a wonderful night.

Pop Chef

Commercial work on Isaac. He has been asking for a Pop Chef for awhile and when he saw it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond he gave me a proposition I couldn't refuse. He said he'd eat lots of fruit if we got it, like watermelon and pineapple. So the next day we used it and he ate apples and insisted that we use it on his sandwich. FYI it is not as easy to use at it looks.

A Successful Dentist Visit

Nolan finally let the dentist look in his mouth and even got his front teeth cleaned. He got to pic from their treasure chest and can you guess what he picked? Yellow Sunglasses.

Can you see the tooth behind his baby tooth? Pretty soon we will have a second tooth fairy visit.

Packing Snacks

I've been looking for these bowls for at least a day and finally found them in Nolan's book bag. So cute that he even put lids on them.

Nolan's First Day at BECC

Nolan was happy to ride the bus and Isaac was ok with it too. I just happened to need to go to their school this morning to pack up the scholastic book fair and got to peek in on Nolan. He was content wearing headphones and watching something on the computer. I can't wait from him to come home and tell me about his day.

Scholastic Book Fair

I'm the library committee at Isaac's development preschool. This is their first year as an independent school so it doesn't have a library. In previous years it has used classrooms in other elementary school and therefore been able to use their resources. So I have asked parents for donation of books to help set up a library, in which they donated 1000 books. Now that I have those books organized those books and labeled them. I moved on to setting up the scholastic book fair, which I have never been a part of at any other schools. So I had no idea how this thing would pan out, which is pretty stressful for me. I set up this thing and luckily for me the staff and other parents at the preschool ran the register everyday this past week. It turned out to be a huge success. We sold over $3000 worth of products and in return will get 40% back in scholastic dollars to buy more books for the library. Also they sent us the Clifford costume and I got to dress up one day! Yup that's me in there and Isaac doesn't know.
