Abundance of Boys

This past week I realized we have an abundance of boys on our end of the street.

So proud of my husband for doing this while I was having surgery. Also very happy that I made it back to greet him getting off the bus.

1 day after surgery

I'm very swollen and very sore. I feel like I did 500 push ups. Hopefully it will look better after things get settled.

Revision Surgery Is Done!

I went to the hospital at 6am, then into surgery at 8, out of recovery at 10:30, and made it home at noon. Just in time to get Isaac off the bus. I'm up and moving around and clear headed, just nauseous from the anesthesia. We went with an entirely new game plan for the revision. I have two new implants that are slightly bigger. The left if 450cc and the right is 500cc. I originally had 425cc on both sides. He lifted the left side and stitched the capsule to one of my ribs so the implant won't drop. Then he undid a stitch on the right side and moved it down a little. Only time will tell if this worked. My follow-up with him is Wednesday. Overall things went really well. I'm very happy with recovery so far. Also it turns out that one drug used by the anesthesiologist probably gave me the memory loss, therefore we tried different drugs today.

Stacking

Nolan loves stacking and unstacking cup and pots. I'm amazed at how he can figure out that the smaller ones go in the bigger ones.
