18 months=1 1/2 years old

I couldn't get him to try the angel food cupcake or whip cream, but he enjoyed eating the paper. David said I'm such a good cook that I can make paper taste good.

Cartwheel fun

Shredded paper and ice

You know how I put corn in his sand/water/sensory table? Well, the corn started growing. Who knew Orville's popping corn would actually grow? Not me. I thought I'd try out shredded paper next and that was fun for about an hour and now our yard is covered in it. At least is compostable, so it should go away soon hopefully. I now have pinto beans in the table, at least when those start to grow they will have pretty flowers.
I also put ice in his baby pool, which Dorito loves. Dorito thinks ice is a treat and Isaac is happy to feed the dogs treats. Isaac wasn't too keen on the ice in his pool so he brought me the hose. He also drag all his stuff to the yard, I wish I knew what he was thinking sometimes.

Isaac's Fun Around the Resort

The resort had a few photographers on staff and they would walk around the resort and take pictures and you have the option of getting them or not. Since we did the family session we bought the CD and added all the pictures on CD. This first one is of him at Baby Club. Swimming in the pool, he is now very good at blowing bubbles underwater and scaring mama. He loved putting his fingers in the crab holes and just dig in the sand. He did not attempt to eat the sand. Us lounging in a poolside bed. Making a tie dye shirt with Daddy. Watching a puppet show. Saying hi to the crab that tried to sneak into our room. Watching TV in his room because the afternoons were too hot to be outside and their pools are heated. Checking out one the many playgrounds. Just chillin Discovering where banana's come from, touching them then running for mama. Playing in the ocean with Daddy. The wave got him, click on the picture to see that he never dropped his sippy cup. It was still in his mouth when he was picked up. I'm still cleaning sand out of his ears from this fall. He loved calling the front desk.

Plane rides with a 1.5 year old

It was a little over 2 hours to Houston then another 2 hour flight to Ixtapa. Isaac was pretty good on the first plane ride since we had seat right in the front we had a lot of leg room for him to play on the floor. Then he slept the entire way from Houston to Ixtapa and that flight was FULL of kids. The flight attendant said he thought this flight was going to Disney just based on the number of kids.
We weren't so lucky on the way back. Isaac screamed on the way up and the way down on both flights back, I'm pretty sure it had to do with his ears. Well, about 20 minutes into the first flight he threw-up in his carseat, thankfully only a little splatter on me and I had a change of clothes. After waking David to help me clean up I then passed Isaac off today and tried my best to unwind from that episode. As we were pulling into the gate in Houston, Isaac fell asleep. Sleeping through customs and waking up when we got the car rental shuttle. The next plane right was a few days later and it was almost as horrible. After leaving the hotel we stopped for some food before going to the airport and before we even left the restaurant's parking lot Isaac threw-up in his carseat. My wonderful husband cleaned the carseat the best he could in the Texas heat while I tried to clean up Isaac in the restaurant's bathroom. We thought it would be best if he just traveled in a diaper for the remainder of the trip. He was very hard to keep entertained on the flight back to Indy and David now wants to invest in a portable DVD player.
