Amy, Amy Quite Contrary...

Some of you have been asking about the garden, here's your update. The bunnies moved out a couple of weeks ago.

tomatoes kohlrabiartichoke asparagus blueberry bushes and rosemary onions and pepper napa cabbage and lettuce broccoli, kohlrabi, and carrots tomatoes, onions, and ? squash and peas

  1. Amy, I am impressed your green thumbs. David is a great trooper to support this.

    Asparagus, I think I have done right - fertilizing in the trench with cow manure, comes back every spring for 10 years. It looks like a free lunch, after an initial labor.

    I hope that you and David and the little one learn enjoying eating green fresh vegi. That is the great life style that will benefit and bless your bodies (even possibly spirit ) for the whole life.

  2. Oh my goodness! I'm drooling!! I want gardens like that!!!! We had a little garden last year and it was fun but didn't plant one this year. :o( Instead we dug up our yard and planted grass. We pretty much had a dirt back yard... until now! Guess we'll have to work on the garden again next year. Good job, Amy!! I'm sure you guys will LOVE eating the fruits of your hard work.
