This is what happens
when I leave the garden for a week in the middle of summer. The tomato plants are close to being gone, the acorn squash is done, and so is the zucchini. While trying to harvest some tomatoes I discovered the biggest, hungriest caterpillars I'd ever seen. These things are bigger than my fingers. So we captured one and can't wait to see what it turns into. These pictures where taken this morning and the jarred caterpillar has already eaten all the tomatoes in his jar.

Someone ate all the delicious tomatoes you brought down here. I don't think it was a caterpillar.
