Our chicken are molting and they look horrendous, but it's neat to see how they grow new feather. 
Our poor little Red here got attacked by an owl and has a couple of gashes. It's been a week since the owl took off with her and it looks like she's healing nicely.
David hear a loud thud against the back of the house at midnight and saw the owl take off with her. So we went to investigate and found her injured. So I went to find the rest of the birds and make sure they were in the coop, and one was not. Luckily I found it the next day. I think Read learned that she should always sleep in the coop.
